Auckland City council started using Zyte during the Covid-19 lockdown for building inspections. Since then interest in Zyte has grown across other departments.
Auckland City Council is the largest council in Oceania, with a $3 billion annual budget, $29 billion of ratepayer equity, and 9,870 full-time staff as of 30 June 2016. The Auckland region is experiencing rapid population growth with 105,200 more people since Auckland Council was established, with 33,700 people recorded in 2014. Overall, it is estimated Auckland’s population will reach 2.2 million people by 2045.

The Waitaki district council is a small mostly rural municipality in the beautiful South Island of New Zealand. Stretching all the way from the coastline at Kakanui almost to the foot of Mt Cook. Presiding over a relatively large rural area ZYTE has enabled building inspectors to get on top of their backlog and save significant costs in travel and time.
Waitaki District Council have been using ZYTE for building inspections and although there are some inspections that you just need to be on site for, Zyte has made a real difference for us in a number of ways. Being able to direct the builder to the right view and then take high quality photos is great. The convenience has been fantastic, we've been able to offer people inspections on the minute and it has increased our capacity to get through our backlog. One of my recent inspections was only 10 minutes and it saved me a 20 minute drive each way!

How Enterprise Utility pricing works
There is a base number of licenses that you will be invoiced for each month which is a minimum of 10 and a ceiling number of licenses which can be up to double your base.
Included in the ceiling is one administrator license which uses the phone number of the person who subscribes for the organisation. If that person is an administrator only and does not use ZYTE for calling then there will be no charge for that license.
At the end of each month we run a report to see how many licences have been used and true up or true down.
How an Enterprise Site License will work
We are in the process of developing a site license for organizations that would prefer to have any number of desktop workstations that can be used by anyone in the organization at any time. One person will be able to use each work station at any one time. We are still in the process of developing this option which may end up being dependant on a login code rather than a physical workstation - but the same principle will apply - one person at a time per site license.
